We are not aware in many occasions of the neccesity of using public transportation, but in Picos de Europa region neighbours and visitors use them a lot.
Many visitors find them useful to get to the beginning of a route or to come back from it, even to go from and to airports. Public transportation in Amieva is also the ideal way of enjoying the landscape, thanks to the people who knows best the different roads and tracks in the region. Miguel Angel is located in Campurriondi, and he moves along the arteries of Picos de Europa to show us viewpoints, tracks, old paths, landscapes....It is the ideal rounding-off in our visit to Amieva, making us not bothering about how far or how near we want to move.
