Bulnes Funicular (railway)
Recently built, it goes from Bulnes to Poncebos and goes 2 km distance in just 5 min. It crosses the limestone of Central Massif and gives communication to a village that lacks any road.

Taking the signaled detour in Arriendas we find at 6 km distance a spectacular spot to enjoy the vastness of Sueve Hillrange and the Cantabric coast.

Jurasic Museum
Asturias Jurasic Museum (MUJA) is located in the so called San Telmo Plain, in Colunga region, between the capital city and Lastres village. It has a sloped entry that diverges from AS-257 road.We find varied copies, like the Giganticsaurus, the biggest carnivorous dinosaur that belongs to argentine fauna. We can also admire the Deynonichus, a jurasic animal related to birds and a paradigm of predators.

Indianos Archives (Spanish returned rich from America)
In this building some rooms have been decorated with furniture from those times, offering visitors an example of the Indiana House. The rest of this building located in Colombres is occupied by a display of the different aspects of migration: the departure of emigrants and their ports of destiny, the big community centres formed by spanish migration, the yearning for their mother land, etc.. This Institute has a large library and important archives concernig asturian communities in Mexico, Buenos Aires, Cuba, and all over America.-Index
Bufones
Bufones are cracks and chimneys open along the coast and connected to sea pits by which water penetrates by pressure making spouts of sprayed water that can be seen from the outside and can get to even 20 metres high. If the sea is calm this natural vents just expel the air pressed into the chimneys by the waves, but with heavy sea bufones are a magnificient show; air and water compressed in that narrow cracks scape together and the earth seems to open spitting fragments of sea with a strong sound and leaving a soft mist over the ground. The moan of Bramadoriu, as they are known can be heard from kilometres around and the ground, grinded over thousand of years threatens to collapse. Along the coastal grounds of Llanes there are several bufones. We can mention Arenillas and Santiuste, that have been proposed to become Natural Monument. The first is located in the coastal part of Puertas de Vidiago village, not a kilometre awya from the town centre. The second one is located in the proximity of Santiuste Castro. We get there by N-634 road, leaving our car 3 km away from Buelna village and taking a track of about five hundred metres long until we get to the cliff.-Index
Peña Tu Idol
Most prehistoric cave paintings consist of little, simple human figures, one of which is holding a big stick in his right hand. There are also dots gathered together and some more very vague figures among which we want to see a four-footed animal. All of them are painted in red. The “idol”, about 1,10 m tall and located in Vidiago is a very geometric representation of an anthropomorphic being; it may be the idealization of a person wrapped in a very elaborated clothing, and with his head covered with a big headgear with a crest or some kind of fringed curls.
