Certain places not far away can give us great moments of leisure.
Autumn bellow
At the beginning of autumn the “bellow show” takes place in asturian forests; it is a concert of male deer bellows trying to atract female deers. It echoes in the slopes of valleys; the male deers compete with their bellow volume and, before the females, they start heavy fights using their antlers to determine who is the strongest and therefore can mate with the female deers. Ponga Region, declared recently National Park, is a very good place to watch this spectacle because its entire territory is a forest of native trees that alternates with prairies and height herbage. The sound of the bellow is spectacular.
